This role is a remarkable opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified General Practitioner.

Overview of the organisation

• Valentine Health Partnership is a large state-of-the-art GP Training Practice based in the multicultural borough of Greenwich, with a list size of 31,000 patients and two branch surgeries, based in Woolwich SE18 and Kidbrooke SE7. The practice is friendly, supportive and innovative. We have a team of 5 partners, 15 doctors and 8 nurses supported by a team of HCA, Pharmacists, paramedic, pharmacy technicians, MSK practitioners, clinical assistants and various administrative staffs.
• VHP is also a teaching practice hosting trainees from the RFH schemes and we are committed to expanding and supporting our GPs to become trainers

• Clinics are a mix of online, telephone and face to face consultations
• We use EMIS, Docman, Accurx
• Our sessional rate is based on full-time hours over 4 days i.e each session is around 4 hours and 40 minutes

Main duties of the job

• 16 appointments per session
• Non onerous duty sessions on a rota basis
• Share of visits when required (normally completed by Paramedic)
• Mix of telephone, face-to-face appointments
• Provide high-quality patient care
• Ensure that each patient encounter is maximised to attain contractual target requirements
• Work collaboratively and contribute to the management and completion of general clinical administration, including bloods, tasks, urgent enquiries, medical reports
