Practice Nurse, St. Helens and surrounding areas.

We have plenty of shifts for Practice Nurses who have knowledge of health promotion.

If you have at least 12 months post registration experience coupled with 6 months recent primary and community nursing experience we are able to give you shifts that suit your work life balance, as we have flexible shifts available too. 

Clinics available Monday – Saturday across Liverpool

GP Practices will be able to book patients in for the following:

  • CVD
  • COPD
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes

Session times we would be looking for are (possible flexible sessions)

  • Monday –  6pm-11pm   
  • Tuesday –  6pm-9pm
  • Wednesday –  5pm-9pm
  • Thursday –  5pm-9pm
  • Friday –  6pm-9pm
  • Saturday – 9am-4pm 

Practice Nurse Requirements

  • Certificate of Diploma or Degree Adult Nursing
  • Certificate of Respiratory Diploma or module /Diabetes module or diploma (if they do it)
  • Up to date DBS
  • NMC/HPC reg number
  • Up to date safeguarding certificates
  • Any other training/educational certificates  - ie respiratory diploma or module, Diabetes module or diploma, cervical cytology certificate
