Salaried GP

Role

We are seeking an experienced GP to join our friendly team of 6 doctors. The role is full time, eight sessions per week (4 days) with no on-call work.

The ideal candidate would be easy going and friendly, and able to build rapport with patients. Your skills and contribution will be valued in Northland; General Practitioners and their families are welcomed into the community.

Practice

We are a busy practice based in Northland.  Our practice is expanding with huge real estate growth within the surrounding area/s.

This practice is Cornerstone accredited practice with a long history of vocational training and education.  Just minutes from some of the best beaches in Northland.

We are looking for applicants with enthusiasm for their work in primary care and who would enjoy working in a team environment.

Location

Bream Bay is located in the beautiful Northland region where hot long summers are the norm. It lies 31km south of the city of Whangarei and incorporates the small township of Ruakaka. Locals are proud of the rich, multicultural heritage, and visitors are pleasantly surprised by the range of adventure and sights to see in the area. The beautiful coastlines are a must see during a visit to New Zealand.

There are many interesting things to see and do while in this coastal town – beautiful beaches for great surfing and treks, Marsden Cove marina with boating facilities, The Wilson Dam- offers great fly fishing, and the Ruakaka Racing Course ‘where the turf meets the surf” is a unique all weather racecourse.
