Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking an experienced GP and clinical leader to join our senior clinical leadership team two/three days per week.
The Associate Medical Director – Primary and Urgent Care is a new post reporting to the Executive Medical Director and will work across 999, Integrated Urgent Care, and planned care directorates within a matrix system to provide expert advice on primary and urgent care, and influence and contribute to the Trust’s clinical strategy.
They will work with other senior clinicians to provide clinical leadership across the organisation with the aim of driving innovation in clinical care, reducing health inequalities and achieving better patient outcomes. They will work closely with clinical leaders in the primary and urgent care system across the Yorkshire and the Humber region, and nationally, to promote partnership, understanding and collaboration. The post-holder will lead our strategy for non-medical prescribing and support our teams in advancing clinical practice.
