Dudley 4 –6 Session Salaried GP Required

Purpose built practice in the Heart of Dudley, Black Country with a growing list size of 8,300 patients

 We have 4-8 sessions to offer and are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and committed Doctor to maintain the values and ethos of the practice

We will support and develop you, and would encourage interest in training, family planning, diabetes or other clinical interest.

An ideal start date would be 1.7.2022, initially for a 6 month mutual assessment period. We would be prepared to wait for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded innovative Teaching, Training and Academic practice based in Dudley. Eve Hill Medical Practice is seeking a committed and enthusiastic salaried GP to join our forward-thinking dynamic medical practice.

We are a friendly and supportive team based in the heart of Dudley in the Black Country, rated Outstanding by CQC since March 2016. We have a strong ethos in providing excellence in service and care to our patient population of 8,300 patients.

The ideal candidate will provide a high standard of care, have a flexible approach and be an active member in the practice team and practice development. We support a culture of innovation and improvement, with the prospect to contribute and make a positive impact on the patient population and local health economy.

The practice consists of an experienced and approachable team, including six GPs, Practice Manager, two Practice Nurses, a Health Care Assistant and large reception and administration support team. The practice has actively sought to stay ahead of the curve within the NHS, by working alongside our Primary Care Network (PCN) and host a Paramedic and Practice Based Prescribing team resulting in minimal home visit requirement.

We are a training practice and usually have at least one registrar, and opportunities to become involved in training would be encouraged. We also provide placements for final year medical students from the University of Birmingham. We undertake commercial and non-commercial research and have been the highest recruiting practice in Birmingham and the Black Country. The post holder will have the opportunity to participate in practice research and personal development.

We are innovative and committed to care navigation, workflow administration and smarter working, so that we have an appropriate skill mix within the practice, for our GPs to only undertake work relevant to their role. A recent anonymous report by our staff showed that we have an above national average safety climate within the practice.

Salary: £10,000 per session     

Reasonable clinical workload of 16 patients per session (including face to face)

NHS pension, indemnity paid, 6 weeks leave plus 1 week of study leave
