A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a GP who is looking for ad hoc or regular agency work. This is a great opportunity to further build your general practitioner career in Hull. We are looking for GP’s who can work in Walk in centres, Minor Injuries unit and in an Out of hours setting.
City Health care partnership has five GP practices in the city surrounding suburbs of Hull. They also manage the Wolds View primary care centre in Bridlington, which delivers an integrated GP and minor injuries service. There is also a walk-in centre which operates 08.00-20.00 7 days a week 365 days a year including bank holidays. The walk in centre will assess, diagnose and treat minor illness and injury.

What will your day to day look like?
The OOH's service at in Hull, information and treatment for NHS patients who become unwell during the out of hours period when their own GP surgery is closed. As a GP you will see, treat and discharge patients of all ages that present minor illnesses or injuries, either over the phone or face to face in the base or when you are doing a home visit. You will be responsible for assessing patients, planning their care, giving them treatment and discharging them, or referring them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals. You will work alongside GP's, practice nurses, HCA's and other non-clinical staff to deliver the best possible patient care. As an OOH's service we are looking for GP’s who can work evenings, nights and weekends - which allows you to pick the hours you want to work
