Vacancy for a
Salaried GP (with a view to join the existing partnership)
Minimum of 5 sessions
The Hollies Medical Practice has an exciting opportunity available for a salaried GP, who is looking to join a practice with a view to joining the partnership.
The Hollies is a friendly, high achieving practice based on the edge of Tamworth town centre and provides care to 15,500 patients. As part of the Mercian Network, we are a forward thinking practice and are keen to embrace new methods of working, for the benefit of our staff and patients.
We require an organised and pro-active GP to join our busy team at the Hollies Medical Practice in Tamworth
If you join us at the practice, you will:
- Be part of this supportive team, which includes 9 GP partners, an advanced nurse practitioner, a clinical pharmacist, pharmacy technician, 1 senior practice nurse, 4 practice nurses, 2 healthcare assistants and 2 care coordinators. We also have access to a first contact physio and social prescriber via the network. In addition to the clinical staff, we have a strong management and administrative team.
- The Hollies is a well-established training practice and we support GP registrars from the Burton VTS and medical students from Keele University.
- The successful applicant will have the option to join the partnership team if they join us as a salaried GP. As a partner, you would be jointly responsible for the smooth running of the practice.
The Hollies was rated good at the last CQC inspection and in the national GP patient survey for 2020, 90% of the patients surveyed described their overall experience of the practice as good (compared to CCG average of 80% and national average of 82%).
Due to the current situation we are not inviting applicants to view the practice before applying. However, if you would like to discuss your application with the Practice Manager or Senior GP partner, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to make arrangements to speak with you.
Closing date for applications: Monday 20th September 2021
