Job Overview

Clarendon Medical Practice is offering a brilliant opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Salaried GP, with a view to full partnership to join our friendly, forward-looking teaching practice in Hyde.  We have a great team of GP Partners, Salaried GPs, nursing staff, ANP, allied health professionals and administrative staff to offer full support to our 7500+ patients.  We are looking for 6-8 sessions per week.

Main duties of the job

You will be expected to provide excellent clinical care for our patients via face to face consultations, online and video consultations and home visits if required. You will deal with associated clinical administrative duties.

Be involved with GP on call rota.

Be involved with teaching and training our complement of ST and FY2 doctors

Engage with Practice Meetings and Clinical Governance Meetings.

Contribute to Practice Development, Audit, and PCN processes

About Us

We are a friendly, well established practice with a supportive and egalitarian culture.

We currently have 1 full time partner, 2 part time partners, 2 part time salaried GPs, one full time ANP, 2 Practice nurses and a team of HCA/phlebotomists. We work with PCN-linked paramedics, pharmacist and physician associate. We will be working with PCN based high level mental health practitioners.

To be able to provide a full range of NHS primary medical services to our patients including; clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment and referral as appropriate.

Qualified General Practitioner

GMC registration

NHS national performers list registration

Desirable

EMIS web experience

Experience

Essential

You must have experience of providing excellent clinical care in the busy primary care setting. You must be capable of working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to provide a team-based approach to patient care. Excellent communication skills are a must.

Desirable

Leadership skills: ability to drive our Clinical Governance processes and have some experience of working and supporting trainee doctors. Business-development skills and motivation.
