Launceston Close Surgery has a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Salaried GP, with a view to full partnership to join our small friendly, pro-active surgery in Winsford. We have a full compliment of nursing, allied health professionals and administrative staff to offer full support to our 5000+ patients. We are looking for 5-6 sessions per week.

- Actively involved in a very forward thinking PCN
- EMIS Web, Docman, Lexacom, AccuRx
- CQC ‘Good’ at last inspection and high QOF achiever

Main duties of the job
Provision of medical services to our patient population, consulting with patients face to face, telephone and online consultations
Represent the practice at various meetings
Contribute to local PCN initiatives and the chance to lead on some of these
Home visits on a rota basis
We currently have 1 full time partner, 2 locum GP’s a clinical pharmacist,
2 practice nurses, 1 ANP, a HCA and several other allied clinical staff including a physiotherapist, first contact practitioner and social prescribers for both general and low level mental health services.
Full compliment of admin staff
We are shortly hoping to recruit a Paramedic to join our team

To be able to provide a full range of NHS primary medical services to our patients including; clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment and referral as appropriate.
Qualified General Practitioner
NHS national performers list registration
EMIS web experience
Experience of working in a fast paced ever changing GP practice to provide high quality care to our patients with a wide range of health needs
Experience of working in primary care would be preferable but newly qualified GP’s would be considered
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
